The Show’s Hosts
Give it up for the hosts: Chris Caston, and Nick Shelton. These hosts do funny things on the cam to break free. These hosts are just like other people- they pay bills, they work, and they also lead a fast-paced lifestyle.
Caston has a different sense of humor- he never fails to express himself the way he wants to. He has his own way to make the audience laugh. Shelton, on the other hand, balances the randomness of Caston, but he is also known to have his unique way to make the audience of the show burst into laughter. Where Did They Get The Name Of The Show?
Nick Shelton, one of the hosts (and the producer of the show) got the name from the song “Ain’t No Half Steppin’” by Big Daddy Kane, which was out way back 1988. He found something catchy in the song- especially the word half steppin’. When he tried looking up for its meaning, he learned that it is doing something half assed, or half hearted.
Shelton made his own definition. Half steppin’ for him meant chilling out,Jordan 13, doing something hilarious, or breaking free from the usual way of living just to keep being sane in a topsy-turvy world. In the show, they break free by: doing travel to other countries and going to other cities, pulling some hilarious tricks, and doing some social experiments.

As for now, the so-called reality show has 7 episodes of comedy, drama, and adventure. They shot in some of the streets in New York in four of their episodes, and also travel to the Dominican Republic for their three episodes.
