Where the 4.4L LR-TDV8 Range Rover will be equipped with an eight-speed-automatic-transmission, the 5.0-litre LR-V8 Range Rover will be using a six-speed automatic transmission. Tata made sure that the acquisition process went smoothly and there was no hindrance to the working of both companies, which have their manufacturing facilities in the UK.
