days of the learner driver being able to find [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], view [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], practice and memorise popular test routes driving examiners take their students are well and truly over according to new guidelines set out by the UKs road safety minister Mike Penning.
Traffic police and councils are supposedly taking advantage of vague boundaries and there are many arguments against both fixed speed cameras and mobile units. Experts have also claimed that digital systems are open to tampering but would still leave innocent drivers open to prosecution.
However, under new plans test centres will be forced to stop publishing these routes online in an effort to make the test more representative of real life driving. Mike Penning has said that removing the routes would teach people to drive safely and independently.
The change of stance is being made to support the introduction of independent driving which will test rivers on their ability to drive safely in a more realistic environment rather than memorising pre defines test routes.
Trevor Wedge, the chief driving examiner of the DSA said: "Evidence shows that the biggest challenge newly qualified drivers face after passing their test is learning how to cope when they no longer have their instructor there to help and prompt them."
Many websites have popped up with pictures of camera vans parked on pavements with double yellow lines, hidden around bends [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] in the way of pedestrians and blocking entrances to properties, the aims is to fight against illegal entrapment.
The changes are set to take place in October, and the hope is the change will lead to the better assessment of the learner driver and to test whether they are ready to drive unsupervised.
